April is living proof that you don’t need to come from an intimidating, technical background to be a Cybersecurity enthusiast. She brings well over a decade of diverse, domestic/international experiences, focusing heavily on building both internal and external loyalty, workflow optimization, and designing strategies — particularly in the “how” for first-time projects and initiatives. Most recently hailing from a Security & Compliance SaaS Sales Team, plus understanding that technical jargon and the rampant changes within the industry can overwhelm many, along with a healthy dose of self-learning, obsessively ‘googling,’ and dabbling in things like Kali Linux, — she is thrilled to join HanaByte as a Compliance Consultant to serve as the bridge, ensuring that Compliance is as pleasant and approachable as good doggos.
It’s the Golden Age of Reels and April has finally caved into the dark side this past year with her own Korean, Asian-inspired, fusion style original recipes/cooking content — a rough transition as she prefers to “eyeball” measurements… She loves to batch cook (basically allergic to making less than 6 servings at once), lunch/meal prep, budget cook, organize her pantry, find creative ways to minimize food waste or “recycle” your leftover takeout dinners, and can be your go-to for advice on making your pantry, produce, or prepped items last much longer without any fancy gadgets or containers! …minus her label maker.
